Reconnect

Love Language Workshop- There are five love languages that describe five different ways that people prefer to receive and express love in a relationship. Knowing your partner's love language and letting them know yours is a great way to connect at a deeper level. During this workshop you will discover each others love language.

Newlywed Game- The popular and hilarious Newlywed Game first debuted on ABC in 1966, testing just how well new couples knew each other. After our beautiful dinner & wine paring Saturday evening, we will end the night together playing a slightly simmered down version of this fun couples game. And no, you and your partner do not have to be married or newlyweds for a shot at the prize!

Couples Yoga- No doubt this fun and invigorating couples yoga session will require enhanced teamwork and connection. What’s not required is yoga experience, my husband & I will walk you through every posture! This session will focus on building deeper physical connection, clear communication, and shared goals.

Sound Bath- Immerse yourselves in the vibrational healing powers of a sound bath. Live Sound Baths help to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by synchronizing our fluctuating brainwaves with stable frequency which the brainwave can attune to. By using rhythm and frequency of specialized instruments, we can stimulate our brainwaves. It then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur). Relax, rest, and restore together.

Lara Meda owner of Little Village Mushrooms

After being deeply inspired by the Fantasic Fungi documentary, Lara signed up for her first mycology class as a Mother’s Day gift to herself.  Delving into the expansive and diverse world of mushrooms further fueled her belief that the ‘future is fungal’ and that she had to be involved in some way.  Not long after, with the support of her family, Little Village Mushrooms came into being.  Lara imagined an urban farm that served as a gathering spot where people could come together to learn and be inspired by fungi, food, art, and community.

Little Village Mushrooms is a controlled environment farm which means it can provide organically grown, hyper-local gourmet mushrooms to our community all year round.  The mission is to go beyond the historical concept of a farm, by bringing people together to celebrate and learn about the exciting world of fungi through workshops, collaborations, creative gatherings, and farm to table events.  Lara looks forward to growing this vision within the community, and much like mycelium, making deep connections along the way. Mush-love!

Johathan & Taren Beller owners of Tug Hill Estate

The Tug Hill Estate, home to the Tug Hill Vineyards, Spirits, and Orchards Brands, is an agriculturally based, family-friendly business. Tug Hill Estate is the northernmost Estate Winery and Distillery in New York, located just outside of Lowville on the Yancey Road. They believe in authentic wine making, limiting production to the varieties that grow right here in our northern climate. Owner Taren Beller has worked with Chef Fuller to pair their delicious and locally crafted wines with each of the six courses being served at dinner Saturday evening. Taren will be educating us on why she has chosen each wine to compliment the course.
