Unlike most stationary yoga retreats, during this incredible luxury Yoga, Meditation & Adventure Retreat you will experience Costa Rica in all of it’s glory. Visiting both the volcanic rain forest and the breathtaking beaches. The intention of this retreat is to awaken to the feeling of being ALIVE! We will lovingly guide & support you as you journey through this mindful & thrilling week. This retreat offers you a well balanced holiday, the first half… ADVENTURE, the second half…RELAXATION and RESTORATION.

Our retreat starts in La Fortuna, the adventure capitol of Costa Rica. We will enjoy incredible views of Arenal volcano, soak in the resort's hot springs, zipline over the rain forest canopy, and rappel alongside waterfalls, all while immersed in Costa Rica's breathtaking ecosystem.

On day four we journey to Nosara, spending the remainder of your week at a beautiful & world renown beach side Yoga Resort. Soak in the sunshine on the pristine beach, feel the ocean breeze, and enjoy the amenities and plethora of wellness classes offered by this beautiful blue zone accommodation.

Days 1-4 La Fortuna, Costa Rica- The Rainforest

While at the La Fortuna Resort and Spa, you will enjoy one of their signature Suites. These suites feature two full beds, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, a minibar stocked with complimentary beverages for both guests, private bath, WiFi, and a terrace area with a view of Arenal Volcano.

Awaken to the sounds of the rain forest daily and make your way to the yoga deck for an invigorating morning flow and meditation…Preparing you for the adventures that lay ahead.

La Fortuna Adventure

Included in your retreat are some truly amazing excursions. These adrenaline filled adventures will leave you feeling ALIVE!

Day 2 Excursion - The Canopy Zipline. This thrilling high speed, high flying course offers 11 zips as you soar from platform to platform near of the base of Arenal Volcano!. Feel the pure Costa Rica air as you soar above the rainforest. To much speed for you? You will have the option to instead tour the canopy hanging bridges.

Day 3 Excursion - Canyoning and rappelling tour down rainforest waterfalls! This awesome course includes 5 rappels that vary in height from 18 - 50 meters. Four of the rappels are down waterfalls and the other is down a canyon wall.

No Experience Needed to join us on these thrilling adventures. We ask that you at least give it a try (unless you have a pre-existing medical condition that puts you at risk of injury).

This world renown Yoga Resort in Nosara is a serene and transformative destination surrounded by lush gardens and only a short jungle path walk away from pristine beaches. This Eco-conscious luxury resort features thoughtfully designed accommodations, world-class yoga facilities, a spa, bar, restaurant, swimming pool, fitness room, and tropical gardens. While here you will also have the opportunity to take advantage of the many yoga classes, sound baths, ceremonies, spin and other fitness classes offered daily and available for purchase.

Four nights *shared* accommodations.

This breathtaking Yoga Resort provides a tranquil oasis where you can rejuvenate, connect with nature, and nourish your mind, body, and spirit. That is exactly what we will be doing! This leg of our adventure includes some amazing workshops, movement practices, beaches, and healthy nourishing meals. Did I mention that you will be staying in a beautiful and modern rainforest bungalow? Your room features two queen beds, bathroom, private balcony, open air rainfall shower, WiFi, air conditioning, coffee maker, and toiletries.

What’s Not Included?

Airfare- We will work together to secure the same, or similar flights. No one travels alone! However, your plane tickets are not included in the cost of this retreat.

Travel insurance- You may wish to purchase travel insurance. Not required, but recommended.

Travel Day Meals- Meals are not included on Saturday until dinner or Saturday after breakfast.

Additional Excursions- Ziplining and rappelling are both included in your retreat! However, you will have free time and may want to go on additional excursions that can be purchased from the resorts. Up to you!

Additional Yoga/ Spin / Pilates/ Fitness Classes at the Yoga Retreat Center- Morning Yoga is included in your retreat. However, You may wish to purchase a spot in some of the daily scheduled Yoga, ceremonies, sound baths, spin & other fitness classes offered at the Yoga Resort in Nosara.

Spa Treatments- Both accommodations feature incredible spas with a plethora of services offered. Optional, but how great does that sound?

Alcohol & Snacks- There will be plenty of opportunity to purchase snacks and beverages thought our journey

$500 secures your spot today. **Optional Payment Plan- You will be responsible for equal monthly payments (minus $500 deposit) beginning the first day of the month following deposit. Payments including the $500 deposit will total the retreat cost. Final payment due December 15th, 2024.

Failing to make a monthly payment within 15 days of invoice, will be considered a cancellation, see below cancellation policy.

Or, you can opt to pay in full, in this case the cancellation policy will be based on the amount that would have been paid at time of cancellation according to our payment plan.

Heather & Jerry Hurd

Hi Friends! My name is Heather, I own and operate Kelpytown Kove, a glamping retreat center and Yoga studio ran out of our home in Northern NY. I am a trained artist, certified yoga & mindfulness instructor, certified instinctive meditation teacher, sound bath facilitator, and attuned reiki practitioner. My Husband’s name is Jerry. He’s a fun loving and incredibly talented guy, you’re going to adore him, I know I sure do!

My husband Jerry and I traveled to Costa Rica back in 2020 right before the world shut down. Every single memory makes me smile!! The weather, the adventure, the kind and welcoming people, the rain forest, the teal ocean waters, the wildlife, I could go on and on. It quickly became a dream of mine to host a retreat in this beautiful country. That brings us to today! My Husband Jerry & I invite you to join us for this once in a life time Yoga Retreat in absolute paradise. Pura Vida!
