The agenda is carefully curated with natures elements, relaxation, release, and rejuvenation in mind.

Connect with nature, make peace with the past, embrace the present, open up to your truth, and embody your limitlessness…ROOT. SPROUT. BLOOM.

Workshops:

-Peacefully Rooted–

This guided journaling session and meditative journey will connect you with your ancestry and what brought you to this very moment. Providing you with a deeper understanding of who you are and why you think and act the way that you do.

Perhaps it is during this time together that you will discover ancestral chains and negative thought patterns that are not serving you and need be broken and released.

-Sprouted Soul–

This workshop takes place on Saturday, after having spent Friday evening exploring your past, and releasing heaviness, it’s now time to ponder what it is that you wish to fill this new found space with. Self care? Self love? Confidence? Motivation? Purpose? Maybe all of the these and more!

Let us guide you to your true desires so that we may set intentions that will lead the way. Now, lets firmly plant those intentions during our succulent workshop.

Your terrarium and intention crystals are yours to keep. Whenever you water your succulents you will be watering your intentions and reminded of this incredible weekend.

-Bloom Where You Are Planted–

The expression "bloom where you're planted" means to take advantage of the opportunities you have in your life without fear or self doubt, and to be grateful for your present situation.

This workshop focuses on both gratitude and acceptance of your true nature, your limitlessness! You are worthy and you are enough exactly how you are. Let us help you to get that down into your spirit. Following this workshop, experience a visually stunning and confidence boosting Veil dance with Ash…BLOOM.

Movement Practices:

We have planned for you some invigorating movement classes. No worries if you’ve never practiced yoga or dance! These classes are accessible to all, from beginner on up.

-Full Moon Yoga Flow-

In yoga, the full moon energy corresponds to the top of the inhalation and the very peak when the force of prana (life force energy) is greatest. This is an expansive, upward moving force that makes us feel energetic, and very emotional.

This full moon yoga flow consists of grounding asanas (postures) which enhance the feelings of safety, stability, peace and ease. Bring us into balance with the moon, thus allowing release while remaining rooted.

-Energizing Yoga Qigong Fusion Flow-

Saturday morning’s yoga class is designed to enhance the upward and outward energy flow, creating an abundance of energy & room to illuminate and sprout new ideas and actions.

-Veil Dance with Ash-

The Veil is more than a prop. It’s the dancers breath, it helps create dynamic pictures and can tell a story, the veil can carry emotion and enhance a dancers quality of movement when treated as an extension to the dancers body.

This class will not only introduce you to the magic of Veil work but you will also reap the benefits of it’s body loving gifts. Ash will have you soaring, feeling confident & magnetic as you bloom to your full potential!

Experiences:

-Sunset Meditation-

Golden hour when the sun is setting over the river is spectacular. What a great time for a meditation!

Practice being fully present, rooted and aware as the fading day paints a picture in the sky. Soften your gaze down as the colors of the sunset give way to night, it is now that we will set our intention for the weekend. Open to Receive. Open to Release.

-Mindful Eating–

Sunday’s lunch will kick off with a guided mindful eating practice.

Being mindful of the food you eat can promote better digestion, keep you full with less food, and influence wiser choices about what you eat in the future. It can also help you free yourself from unhealthy habits around food and eating.

-Full Moon Sound Bath-

A sound bath is a therapeutic and meditative experience whereby you “bathe” in the sounds and vibrations produced by different instruments such as gongs, tuning forks, and crystal bowls.

The vibrations produced during sound Baths offer an invitation to a deeper state of consciousness by down-shifting our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur). This is especially helpful for those that find it hard to meditate.

-Fire Release Ceremony–

Fire allows for rapid transformation. It provides the avenue to let go of the old story and drama, to transform, to renew and to be reborn. Fire ceremony is one of the core ceremonies in many medicine traditions and is typically held around the full or new moon of each month when the veils between the worlds are the thinnest. Ours will be the night prior to the full moon!

Through fire ceremony, you honor your lessons and old belief structures by placing them in the fire and turning them over to Spirit. By releasing these old patterns and beliefs into the fire, you can heal deeply at the level of the soul.

-Planting Intentions–

Allow yourself to be guided to your truest desires during our Sprouted Soul Meditation. Now it’s time to plant intentions that will lead the way, literally. Ashley Galligan will be guiding a succulent terrarium project and reading poems from her new book, Book Of Shadows.

Your terrarium and intention crystals are yours to keep. Whenever you water your terrarium you will be watering your intentions and reminded of this incredible weekend.

Celebration:

Lets celebrate YOU, you’ve made it this far and that’s reason enough to celebrate! Chef Loomis and his partner Jenn of Divine Catering will be presenting an incredible six course formal dinner. Tug Hill Estates will be presenting a wine pairing with this celebration dinner!

Your Retreat Guides:

Hi Friends!

My name is Heather Hurd.

I own and operate Kelpytown Kove, a glamping retreat center and Yoga studio ran out of our home in Northern NY. I am a trained artist, certified yoga & mindfulness instructor, certified instinctive meditation teacher, sound bath facilitator, attuned reiki practitioner, and retreat host. I will be guiding you thorough this Bloom retreat, and am so excited that this circle of beautiful practitioners will be coming together to share with you their talents and healing energy!

Hi!

I am Ashley Galligan.

I am the creative behind Geodesic Love. I live in the foothills of the Adirondacks with my son in a 124 year-old cottage. There, we have a small hobby farm with plenty of Chickens, Kitties, Dogs, Bunnies and Gardens.

Geodesic Love was created many moons ago when I was living in Colorado. It was there that I got that first "itch" to make art and to share my light with the world.

I look forward to offering an intention planting succulent terrarium workshop at this retreat, where we will focus on growth. I will incorporate some of my intuitive writings from my newest book, Book of Shadows.

Hola!

I’m Ash Fletcher.

I’m a perpetually developing yogini. Yoga found me during my training as a dancer, the in-depth kinesthetic wisdom provided through the practice and the ancient heart of yoga appealed to me, so I began daily study and teaching of yoga at age 18.

I’ve studied dance and movement, and have performed professionally all over the world.

Later my passion to teach led me to earn my BS in Education and after 4 years in outdoor education and 4 years in the classroom I also earned my MA in International Education.

I am excited to help you Bloom to your fullest during our empowering veil dance class.

Hi, I’m Chef Loomis

Chef Heath Loomis of Divine Catering

With over 25 years culinary experience and a love for outdoors, Chef Heath Loomis brings to the table heavenly meals prepared with fresh local ingredients. Joined by his lovely and talented sous Chef Jenn, this team’s culinary creations will tantalize your taste buds all weekend long.

Hello.

I’m Derek.

I have strong roots in local wine making and distilling, so I left my position as a charge nurse to pursue an education at Jefferson Community College. I finished at the top of my class with a degree in Winery Marketing and Management, and have since been working on innovating the Northern NY wine industry and distillery production. As Head Wine Maker and Master Distiller at Tug Hill Estate, I have been a leader in this field for over 10 years.

I am looking forward to offering you an incredible wine pairing experience.

Hello friends!

I’m Jamie Stocker.

I am a dedicated yogi who quit my 9-5 job to pursue a more fulfilling lifestyle. This allowed for the creation of Sudsy Sunflower, my cleaning service.

I look forward to being onsite at Kelpytown Kove to help ensure your stay is comfortable, clean, and that you have everything you need.

Here is what our guests are saying:

“I love the focus on respecting yourself and honoring your worthiness. Venue was beautiful, it felt like Heather thought of everything. Food Was amazballs. All of the ladies were so welcoming/kind. Such a wonderful experience”.

“Sound healing was very mind blowing! The food was amazing, the tents were so cute and welcoming. The blankets and pillows made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud.

The retreat was very informative, relaxing emotional, spiritual, and transformational weekend full of new and amazing experiences that unlocked areas of myself that I didn’t know existed. So very thankful for this weekend”.

“I loved everything about the retreat. The whole experience was amazing, I would have to say this was the best experience of my life”.

“I enjoyed digging into route issues, that was extremely therapeutic for me. I allowed myself to acknowledge and vocalize aspects of my childhood that needed to be brought to the surface. This was an amazing experience. I opened channels with myself that I’ve been repressing for 20+ years. The host for coming and nurturing, allowing comfortable space to do this”.

“I love the self care workshops, and the cozy accommodations. Everything was well thought out! They are itinerary, the food, the sleeping accommodations, the amenities, and overall vibe were very enjoyable for me”.
